Biggest Morning Tea in the Afternoon, Friday 6th May
Around 75 residents came for an enjoyable afternoon,
The donations and raffle raised $875.00 for cancer research
Their was a wide variety and more than enough cakes to enjoy with the table service of tea or coffee. There was also the novelty small cups of coffee made from a biscuit, a marshmallow, icing and half a musk lifesaver.
Donations were received before and after the event and one resident, who was affected by the Westpac ATM being down the day before, very generously donated her accumulated coins.
The raffle with the major prize of the quilt donated by the quilters was won by Brian and Carmen Paton.
It was the first function where our new social sub-committee were involved and all worked excellently as a team.
