| Probus Cruise,
August 2011 42 Probus members
plus friends celebrated the "last day of Winter" with a
chartered cruise from Patonga to Bobbin Head via the beautiful
Cowan Waters through the magnificent scenery of the Ku-Ring-Gai
Chase National Park.
The last tufted clouds of Winter couldn't
stop the warm sunshine from Australia's deep blue skies as we
enjoyed the knowledgeable commentary of the crew of the MV
Merinda 2. We had over 1½ hours
for lunch etc at Bobbin Head before the sturdy old wooden ferry
returned us to the scenic village of Patonga.
An added bonus was the wildflowers along
the road through the Brisbane Waters National Park.
It was a wonderful farewell to Winter!

successful outing, and for the above words.
