Saturday January 22nd 2011 was a special occasion as manager Margaret with helpers catered for 101 residents at a "Fund Raising Dinner" to raise funds for the Queensland flood victims.
WHAT A SUCCESS THE NIGHT WAS!
lot's of good food, everyone enjoyed themselves, and over $1500.00 was raised.
Thank you all you generous residents who supported the function and the flood victims so well.
The raffle was well supported, and so it should have been with 10 prizes to be won. The workshop donated 2 tables, there was a good hamper, a good choice of beer, wine and spirits. Also there was pin the tail on the donkey, a baileys coin toss and a roulette game. Plenty of chances to have fun while making donations.
