MODELLING AND CARVING
We
have a number of residents who are talented with their hands and ideas, the work
featured here is representative of some of their
hobbies.

American Wall Clock. Made from PNG Rose wood |
"Grandpa". The face is carved in NZ Kauri, the
background block is Western Red Cedar |
The Rooster is mounted on a copper sheathed
plaque and carved in Camphor Laurel |
Seahorse is carved one piece of Huon Pine |
Carved Coffee Table. The top is one piece of solid
Red Cedar, as if the under frame and carved legs. The flowers are hand
carved.
The Black Faced Cormorant is carved in Beech
(laminated)
