POOL SUB-COMMITTEE

POOL SUBCOMMITTEE     

The Pool Sub-Committee consists of five members and its duties are:

· Test the pool and spa water twice weekly (more if there is a problem)

· Report findings by fax to the pool contractor·        Liaise with the pool contractor if any problems arise

· Ensure that all mechanical and electronic equipment is in working order

· Regulate the temperature of the pool and spa

· Maintain stocks of testing and treating chemicals and parts and accessories

·  Cover the pool at night (first resident to use, uncovers in the morning)

 We are fortunate to have on this sub-committee two qualified chemists who are very conversant with the chemicals the spa and pool use.  The pool contractor attends the pool once each fortnight, more if necessary.  Other residents help on a voluntary basis, especially in covering the pool each night.
