FUNCTIONS OF THE SOCIAL SUB-COMMITTEE

This sub-committee, consisting of eight members, is responsible for organising the many social functions we have in our village, such as:

·        Happy Hour

·        Monthly barbecue

·        Special occasions, e.g. Australia Day, ANZAC Day, Melbourne Cup, Christmas

·        Afternoon teas after each month’s Forum

·        Fashion Parades/Product Presentations etc

·        Visits to the theatre

 The list is endless.  The sub-committee also supervises the Community Centre kitchen, making sure it is restocked with tea/coffee etc and the ladies and gentleman (one only) of the sub-committee make themselves available to organise any special functions etc which occur from time to time, e.g. Wakes.
