SOMERSBY CHRISTMAS LIGHTS………..A very casual evening

We were picked up by David Orchard of It’s Easy tours and Get’em Lost 4X4 tours at 5pm to be taken to his home/depot for a Christmas barbeque, a wander around the gardens and when it got dark to view his extensive Christmas lights. However he had strict instructions from his wife Annetta to fill in time until she and her helpers had finished setting up for us. They had 90 people the night before. So David with his extensive knowledge of the area took us on a mystery tour which included the Old Pacific Highway for a touch of nostalgia, Woy Woy, Blackwall, Ettalong, Mangrove Mountain, Peats Ridge and much more all with interesting historical commentary. We returned to Alloura Waters at about 10.30pm having had a good night out.
