WORKSHOP

Our workshop has proved a great asset to our village and has carried out many small jobs for which we would have had to pay an outside tradesman.  Both men and women attend the Workshop.  They often do  jobs for residents and are given a donation that goes towards the purchase of Workshop equipment.  During the year the Workshop also makes toys, some of which are disposed of in the village for a donation, but many of which are given to disadvantaged children at Christmas time.  The Workshop is manned on Tuesdays and Thursdays by the Workshop Committee but can also be attended at other times.  A number of safety rules have been laid down to which all users must consent.

There are three wood turning lathes, two band saws, a drop saw, a saw bench, a drill stand, several belt and disk sanders and a large variety of hand tools.
